So you want to make money online? You may have heard that you need to spend money online to make money online? It’s a lot easier. This is no get rich quick scheme. You need to work hard to start off or else it isn’t possible.

You need some money to start off with making money online before you can make the big money. You need to have enough money to pay for your domain, web hosting, design etc. Here are the ways for you to collect the money for your start up:

1) Forum Posting
Forum posting can get you from $0.10 to $0.25 per post (Rs 5 to Rs 12), and it works out quick. Search on DigitalPoint Forums for such offers. Forum posting is the easiest and the fastest way to make money for your start.

2) Selling Articles
You don’t need to be Shakespeare to write articles. Make sure you write about what you know rather than something you don’t know about. You can easily get from $5 – $30 per article.

3) Doing Surveys
I’ve only heard about this. People *do* make money online by filling free survey forms. But their payment is always slow.

4) Designing
This is the best way to make money for your start up (or anyway this is one of the best ways to make money online). Get paid a minimum $30-50 for a logo and you could charge upto $200-300 for a website design! But you need some Photoshop skills for this, it isn’t easy as the above 3.

5) Flip Websites
Now you have enough money to buy a domain, web hosting and design. Load your website with articles (quality articles) and a nice design and then sell it off from $100 – $500.

You can do this a few times in a month and you will have enough money to run your online business successfully. Don’t stop until you make $2,000. Think about it, you can make a full time income with this!



Big Mistakes Made in Affiliate Marketing

You must have heard about the positive things about affiliate marketing. But do you know the negative side of it? There are a few things that can kill your affiliate marketing website before you started. Here are a few tips that you should take care of while running a affiliate website:

1) Do not pick up a dead product
One thing you have to make sure is that you do not pick up a dead product. No one buys a dead product no matter how cheap it is. Today, If I compare the Apple iPhone with some cheap ePhone (just for the sake of naming it), I won’t get any sales. Why? I won’t get any sales before the product is dead. There is no/less demand for the ePhone compared to the iPhone. Since the ePhone is cheaper than the iPhone, I won’t even get a good affiliate commission. (You might get a good affiliate commission but not always)

2) Too many products of the same category
People won’t buy the product via your website if there are too many of them with the same category. If I’m listing web hosting offers, they should be to the point and simple. They should be compared in such a format that even a newbie would understand which product you’re trying to promote more (of course the one with more affiliate commission! 😉 ). Simple yet important rule: Keep it simple.

3) Knowing your keywords
Many people don’t take the advantage of the free marketing tools available on the internet. Use these tools and get the best keywords. Add them in you’re title/meta tags and see the results.

4) Quitting too early
Alright, so it’s been 2 months and you have no sales. So what do you do? No! Don’t quit! It’s only been 2 months!!! It’s been about a year for Sensonize.com and it just started making money with the affiliate ads. Wait for as much as you can. Keep working. Add new features/content to your website/blog everyday and see the results for yourself!
